Beach weddings are usually an informal celebration. From my experience, it is better to select a short dress for the bridesmaids if you are having a beach wedding. This goes for all outdoor weddings as well. It can be difficult to walk properly in the sand with a long dress. Calf length bridesmaid dresses are the ideal choice. I once attended a beach wedding and it was pretty clear that it would’ve been a great day for the bridesmaids if they had chosen a shorter dress.
Wraps should be ordered along with bridesmaid dresses because the weather at the beach can be very unpredictable. It can get windy or cloudy in a matter of minutes. Sandals with short heels or decorated flip-flops are a good option. Colors are also immensely important. You should anticipate a day with a lot of sun, so I would recommend a color that is light on the eyes. My friend’s beach wedding was an extremely delightful experience. They all wore white dresses and it looked like the perfect choice for a wedding at the beach.
