From time to time, we like to go a little bit off topic. Today, we’re moving away from our typical women’s fashion type posts and turning our attention to the men, well, menswear to be precise. Today, our designer spotlight is focused firmly upon Hugo Boss. Now, for anyone who has been living under a rock for the past 85 years, Hugo Boss is a high end fashion house located in Metzingen, Germany and specialises in menswear. As the name would suggest, it is named after its founder, Hugo Ferdinand Boss - and with a name like that, why not? Hugo Boss currently boasts shops in almost all major European and caters more towards the older male. However; with the introduction of the Hugo Boss Orange brand in 1987, a brand offering more of a casual sporty look, Hugo Boss has been able to branch out its offerings to the younger generation. Of course, Boss Black, the more sophisticated brand is still what defines Hugo Boss. If a sport look is your thing, Hugo Boss also offer Boss Green which was created to target the sports wearers of the brand entirely.

Hugo Boss currently boasts over 5000 stores. Hugo Boss is also a major player in the fragrance industry whos interests are owned by Procter and Gamble.
